These gals know how to get dressed.
We all slip in to a clothing rut now and then – whether we’re just sick of the whole wardrobe, or have loads of stuff with no idea how to wear it.
So what do you do when you want to get out of that rut? Personally, we take to the ‘gram and look at some very stylish gals. In no particular order, here are some fab Irish women to follow if you’re looking for some fashion direction.
Angela’s style is incredibly distinctive – bright, bold, just a little off-kilter, and always amazingly accessorised. That BAG.
The queen of body con (sorry Kim K). The model is all about showing off her curves, and she looks so good doing it.
The jewellery designer has a wardrobe of the most amazing skirts and dresses, always paired with some of her delicate gold pieces. A girly-girl’s dream.
Did I mention I’m on the Late Late Show tonight?! I am in LOVE with my outfit from @omdivaboutique. The top and culottes were designed by the insanely talented @jennifairybyrne, the necklace by @capuletandmontague. (Repping Irish fashion, YES.) The brilliant @dearbhla.mup from @brownsugardub did my makeup, and @aidandarcyx fixed my hurr. It truly takes a village. (I’ll be on between 10.15-10.30, chatting all things #AlmostLove)
Louise writes killer books, and her personal style is killer too, ranging from minimalist to grown-up goth. She loves supporting Irish designers, which gets a big thumbs-up from us.
If you’re looking to inject a bit of colour into your wardrobe, you could learn a lot from graphic designer Babs. She’s all about the brights – this yellow ensemble is a dream.
Blogger Louise Cooney has the most covetable casual style – a simple outfit of jeans, a top, and a nice coat has never looked so polished.
Some of the NCAD graduate’s designs recently graced the windows of Brown Thomas – you’ll want to keep an eye on her beautiful, intricate work.
Writer Taryn is into vintage and ‘understated flamboyance’, and she’s making us want to revisit coloured tights. ‘The Joy Bringer’ indeed.
Is there something about the name Louise that makes women stylish, or is it just a coincidence? The 2fm presenter gives great face, great earrings, and striking pops of colour. So fab.

Content creator Niamh is always immaculately suited and booted. That coat with that hat, and those shoes? Dead.
Lauren pairs high street finds with high-end accessories, creating a slick and sophisticated look. We *dream* of looking this chic.
As an Irish fashion grad living in New York, Tar is your gal if you’re looking for understated cool. Loving every bit of this look, so we are.
Standing at 3’5″ tall, Sinéad is a leading activist for inclusivity in fashion and design. For her appearance at last year’s Business of Fashion Voices conference in London, she was dressed by Burberry – and she rocked it.
Berets of many colours? Yes. Skater tees? Yup. Chunky 90s-style runners? You betcha. Sarah is pulling off all the trends you probably wish you could (and you can. Do it!).
The Tropical Popical boss lady (and STELLAR Live panellist) is not a bit shy and retiring when it comes to fashion. She’s into sequins, leopard print, tulle, and jewels, probably all at the same time – and it is sensational. Yes gawd.
