For anyone who has isn’t 100% body confident, which saddly, is a lot of us, summer can be a little daunting. Finding something to wear in the heat that won’t leave you feeling over-exposed and self-conscious can be tough when crop tops and denim shorts are the norm.

Many women of all shapes, heights and sizes can look incredible in a cute pair of denim shorts, but for some of us, it’s just not something we’ll even consider.

From a young age, right up until now, I dread the thought of wearing a denim short on a day in the sun, because, although I’m getting better and better at accepting my body every day, shorts just don’t particularly look good on me, they tend give me a bit of a sausage leg and make me feel quite self-conscious. If you’re like me, you’ll get it.
