River Island’s New Campaign Has Been Praised For Promoting Body Positivity And Inclusivity

The campaign is part of River Island's 30th birthday celebrations.Β 

River Island’s new campaign has people talking for all the right reasons.

Working to improve diversity in the fashion industry, the campaign named ‘Labels Are For Clothes’, includes a variety of models of varying race, body shapes and abilities and we are loving it.

The high-street retailerΒ announced the campaign on Twitter calling it ‘a celebration of people who reject stereotypes and champion self-expression’.

The campaign is part of River Island’s 30th birthday celebrations.

In partnership with anti-bullying charity Ditch The Label, River Island’s in-house design team have created a selection of slogan t-shirts and sweatshirts, championing the Labels Are For Clothes empowerment message.

The campaign has been met with positive response across social media, with members of the public praising River Island for its “inclusion and respect”.

We’re so on board with this.
