This New Budget Skincare Range Is A Dead Ringer For The Ordinary

Love Revolution's cheap-as-chips makeup? You'll probably love this.

It’s hard to know what’s going on with The Ordinary these days – CEO Brandon Truaxe was ousted last month after accusing his colleagues of ‘major criminal activity’ and closing all brick-and-mortar stores.

While the products still seem to be in stock on all the usual sites, fans have been stocking up and seeking out alternatives in case they were to disappear.

One brand stepping up to fill the gap is budget-friendly Revolution Beauty, which has just branched out into skincare. The range seems, er, heavily inspired by The Ordinary, from the packaging, to the price, to the ingredients.

Niacinamide serum for blemish-prone skin? Check.

Red-hued AHA/BHA peeling solution for intense exfoliation? Check.

Hyaluronic acid serum? Check.

And a caffeine-infused under eye serum? Check check check.

Other interesting products include a lightweight gel-cream moisturiser, a CBD oil to calm dry and sensitive skin, and an antioxidant-rich primer.

Everything is under €15, so if you’re looking for a cheaper dupe for your favourite skincare product, you may just find it here. Consider our interest piqued, anyway…
