We’ve seen that gorgeous Galia Lahav gown, and now Michelle Keegan has revealed all the deets on her stunning wedding-day beauty look.

Skincare

Writing in her blog for Hello! Michelle explains, “for pampering I had a bit of an established beauty regime: using a decent cleanser to remove my make-up (either Origins Mega Bright or GinZing cleanser) Midnight Face Skin Recovery Concentrate by Kiehl’s every night, and their Rare Earth Cleansing Mask every few days.”

I enjoy regular facials, and don’t really wear any make-up unless I’m going out which I think allows your skin to breathe.

For hydration, Michelle reveals she used two moisturisers to get her skin wedding-day ready: Darphin Hydraskin Rich Moisturiser, €62, and Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentrate, €17.

“I also enjoy regular facials, and don’t really wear any make-up unless I’m going out which I think allows your skin to breathe,” she explains.

Make-up

For Michelle’s wedding make-up she enlisted the help of make-up artist Collette Casey.

“Whether you are the blushing bride or simply a guest, you want your make-up to last all day and long into the night,” Collette advised Michelle.

Layering the products will help your make-up last longer.

And the most important product is suncream. “There are some fantastic tinted moisturisers and foundations on the market that have an SPF built in,” says Collette. “I like the Laura Mercier tint as it gives a bit more coverage than some other tinted moisturisers but still looks natural and glowing.”

To recreate Michelle’s perfect, last-all-day bridal look, Colette advises, “using a cream blusher underneath your powder blush or a cream eyeshadow before your powder eyeshadow – layering the products will help your make-up last longer,” she reveals.

Finally, Collette reccomends Urban Decay Setting Spray, €30, to keep the look in place all day long.
