Leave well alone

The trickiest part of growing out your brows is not attacking them with tweezers every time you see a stray hair pop up. From here on in, you’ll need to be strategic about how and when you tweeze your brows. Figure out the shape you’re going for and only tweeze below the line of your desired new arches. You can tweeze between your eyebrows too, but don’t overdo it.

Exfoliate

Not just reserved for your skin, exfoliating your eyebrows also has some serious benefits. Grab a used toothbrush and gently brush them every morning; around two minutes a day ought to do it. The stimulation can help trigger new growth, and if nothing else, brushing them through will help to keep them tidy.

Look to your diet

Changing your diet all in the name of amazing arches might seem a tad extreme but when you consider that a healthier lifestyle will also benefit your skin, hair and nails, it might not be so crazy. You’ll need to eat extra protein and vitamin C, both of which strength the hair shaft, and promote growth.

Be patient

We hate to break it to you, but growing out your brows can take anywhere from six weeks to six months. In the mean time, tame them with a brow brush, define with a brow-shaping product like Anastasia Dip Brow Pomade and if you really need them tamed, make sure you get a professional to wax or thread them.
