Jennifer Hudson also rocked a H&M number.

H&M designs have been toeing the line of high fashion over the last twelve months, with celebs like Kylie Jenner and Gigi Hadid all going crazy for the high-street retailer’s Balmain collaboration.

But the fashion giant went all in last night, creating stunning designs for six very high-profile attendees at the 2016 Met Gala.

Among the stars decked out in H&M for the evening were Hailee Steinfeld, Ciara and Jennifer Hudson, all of whom looked downright incredible at the annual style event.

Ciara’s bejewelled halter neck number was a total winner, and the singer channelled the Prohibition era with a silver-toned cropped cut that matched the metallic hues of her gown.

Hailee kept things a little more traditional in an emerald green strapless satin gown:

While Jennifer Hudson went all out in a corseted white dress with a four-foot chiffon train:

Also decked out in H&M designs were models Amber Valletta, Pyper America Smith and Lucky Blue. All six ladies worked with H&M’s design team to create custom gowns that suited their own tastes.

Jennifer called the design process an “amazing experience,” adding that she felt “so glamourous” in her white gown.

This is the second year running that H&M designs have featured on the Met Gala red carpet – last year Sarah Jessica Parker, Banks and Janelle Monae all wore designs by the high-street retailer.
