‘Can’t Believe I’m In Uggs’: Victoria Beckham Had A Major Style Dilemma At Eva Longoria’s Wedding

VB lowered her footwear standards for one day only.

The most entertaining thing about seeing celebrities attend their non-celebrity friends’ weddings? The outfits they’re forced to wear if they’re in the bridal party.

Taylor Swift recently side-stepped the stress of having to wear a shop-bought bridesmaids dress at her BFF Brit Maack’s wedding, by paying to deck out herself and the bride in custom Reem Acra. As for the rest of the bridesmaids, well, they bought their frocks online.

And who can forget Rihanna’s lilac chiffon number at her pal Jennifer Rosales’ nuptials? It might have been Badgely Mischka, but the pastel dress was totally off-brand for RiRi.

But it turns out that even if their bestie is a fellow A-lister, some celebrities still end up having to drop their fashion standards on the big day.

Case in point is Victoria Beckham, who attended her BFF Eva Longoria’s Mexican garden wedding over the weekend.

Eva wed her third husband Jose Antonio “Pepe” Baston on Saturday at Valle de Brava, on the shore of Mexico’s Lake Avándaro, watched by “a small gathering” of close friends and family.

Her long-time friend Mario Lopez shared this photo of the big day:

The bride wore a white satin fishtail gown designed by Ms. Beckham herself for the big day, but chose something a little more relaxed for her breakfast by the pool the next morning.

“Me and VB relaxing by the lake #YesIGotHerToWearUggs,” she wrote on Instagram, sharing a snap of herself and Victoria wearing grey fleece Ugg boots.

“Can’t believe she put me in Uggs!” Victoria joked, re-posting the same photo and adding, “You can’t say no the the bride.”

We’re sure it was straight back into stilettos for dinner that evening…
