The Best Of London Fashion Week Street Style A/W’16

Oh goody! We do love a bit of street style, and this little lot, snapped by Ashling Browne, showcases LFW style at its best.

Fashion week is a slog. Merely reporting on it can give you repetitive strain disorder – all that ‘gramming – so we can only imagine the fatigue that descends upon the street style stars that parade themselves outside the shows after a full seven days of posing, dressing and never letting those tousled waves flatten. You’ve gotta admire them for the show of sartorial strength.

Irish photographer Ashling Browne was on the streets of London last month for the capital’s fashion week to capture the trends forecasters are embracing as of now. Any surprises? There was a lot of femininity on show. Think bouquet pinks and flirty beret accessories. Athleticism seems to have been replaced by structure – coats, peaked hats, sharp handbags. There was not a slouch in sight.

Any standout looks for you?

Check out the latest issue of Stellar, out 9th March, for more glimpses at LFW’s biggest takeaways.
