Chloe Grace Moretz has been single for a while now, and after revealing her childhood crush during a magazine interview, she’s managed to bag herself a date. If only the rest of us had it so easy…

“When I was 4 years old I thought Aaron Carter was so cool,” she told Variety, “And then my friend, when we were both little babies back in Georgia, she liked him, too. We used to fight about who would date Aaron Carter one day. Who knows? Maybe we’ll meet.”

And voila! Just like that that, Aaron slipped right into her mentions saying, “Hey @ChloeGMoretz – let’s set up a date. The crush is mutual. ? “.

It comes shortly after his split from girlfriend Madison Parker, whom he started dating last year. They broke up amicably last week because he’s bisexual and needs to focus on his “personal self” with regards to his truth, health and music.

He announced on Twitter that “my identity has been weighing on my chest for nearly half of my life” and that “this doesn’t bring me shame, just a weight and burden I have held onto for a long time that I would like lifted off of me.”
