Did You Notice? Kim’s Made One Big Change To The Way She Dresses Since The Paris Robbery

She faced major backlash for displaying her wealth following the attack.

When Kim Kardashian was held up in a Paris Hotel room by armed robbers who reportedly stole $10 million worth of her jewellery she was widely criticised for “flaunting her wealth” on social media.

Karl Legerfield was one of the most outspoken on the matter.

“You cannot display your wealth and then be surprised that some people want to share it with you,” the fashion designer said publicly following the robbery.

While it’s totally unfair to place the blame on Kim for what happened, it seems that the KUWTK star may be taking note of the criticism.

Why? Well, gossip site TMZ have noted that she’s tamed down her jewellery choices and opted for less expensive pieces.

In one of her most recent pics on Snapchat for example, the star is seen wearing a simple gold Calabasas necklace worth $500, a far cry from the giant $4million diamond ring she reportedly had stolen during the raid in Paris.


At her mom Kris’ Christmas Eve party, she kept things equally demure, opting for a black satin choker, instead of any bling.


While Kim’s jewellery is certainly still pricey it’s worth noting that she’s taken her bling budget down from seven figures to three, a decision that may have been prompted by the events in Paris on October 3rd.

Whatever the reason for Kim’s more budget choices though, it’s good to see the star looking back to her best.

Since her return to the internet last week, she’s been Tweeting, Instagramming and Snapping up a storm, so we hope this means she’s well on her way to making a full recovery.
