How much time do you dedicate to blogging?

A few hours every day. I’m lucky that my job as a freelance make-up artist affords me the flexibility to give my blog the time it needs.

What’s the best freebie you’ve ever received?

It’s the more meaningful gifts, like anything personalised. I’m a sucker for stuff with my name on it, so a personalised bottle of my favourite perfume was a lovely treat.

And the best press trip you’ve ever been on?

Last month I travelled to Austria for The Ski Week – a week of mainly debaucherous après ski, slope-side champagne, hot tubs and making a ton of new friends. I went to Greece for The Yacht Week with the same crowd last Summer.

How often do you travel?

I take a trip once a month, sometimes I’ll do a few in a row. Boarding a plane is my happy place!

Must-have beauty product?

I cannot live without lip balm! I also love the Armani Brow Maestro for really natural looking brows.

What make-up looks do you think will be big this season?

Fresher faces and less coverage to allow freckles to shine through. The new NARS Dual Intensity blushes are perfect for achieving a healthy glow.

Your favourite make-up look?

Jennifer Lopez kills it every single time. Her make up artist Mario Dedivanovic uses L’Oreal Paris’ Magic Lumi Concealer as a highlighter to get her infamous JLo glow. Soft smokey eyes, nude lips and a feathery lash flutter.

How should we look after our skin?

Keep your skin squeaky clean. I’ve just started using Clinique’s Sonic System Purifying Cleansing Brush and I love it. I follow up with the Origins Renewal Serum. Find skin care products that suit your skin type too, and make sure you drink enough water and eat reasonably well.

Favourite make-up brands?

Smashbox, Rimmel and Chanel. Essence has some amazing bargain beauty too! I used to work for MAC so I use a lot of its stuff.

Your go-to skincare brand?

Clarins is my favourite.

Where will you be buying your summer wardrobe?

H&M! New Look has such good swimwear and summer shoes at the moment too.

Fail-safe outfit of choice?

High waisted skinny jeans, Converse or New Balance trainers, a cotton shirt and Ray Bans. Pretty classic and simple.

Who’s your style inspiration?

I love Millie Mackintosh’s style.

What are your top three beauty tips?

  1. Find a neutral lip pencil one or two shades darker than your own lips for perfect volume-boosting definition.
  2. Apply your second coat of mascara while the first one is still wet to help prevent clumping.
  3. Use your bronzer as a blending colour for your eyeshadow. It’s the perfect shade to soften the edges when wearing a smokey eye.

Your favourite food spots?

I love Dada for Moroccan food, Fallon & Byrne for healthy lunches and Taco Taco for jugs of cocktails and tacos!

Favourite recipe?

Homemade baked eggs with chorizo, or Shakshuka. it’s the perfect hangover brunch! The recipe is on my blog.
