Sorry, But Drying Your Hands With One Of Those Dyson Airblade Thingys Is Actually Really Gross

Here's why...

Dyson Airblade

Remember a few years ago when Dyson launched the Airblade, their all-new, super speedy hand driers that were said to also said to be super hygienic and stop the spread of germs?

Well, apparently they’re actually really gross.

According to a recent study in the Journal Of Applied Microbiology, dryers like the Airblade can actually spread up to 1,300 times more germs than paper towels and 60 times more than normal hand dryers.

And you thought they were hygenic, huh?

The study explained that thanks to the 430mph blasts of air that are generated by jet air dryers, germs are catapulted up to 10 feet away.

Er, we don’t know about you, but we’ll bringing a pack of anti-bac wipes next time we’re heading to a public loo.
