Delicious Paleo Bread 2

Let’s be clear: we LOVE bread but we know that the standard loaf is often overly processed and loaded with excess sodium and sugar, which isn’t exactly great for our bods. That’s why we made it our mission to scout out a healthier alternative, and boy, did we find a good one!

As per, it was the #IrishFitFam who led us to clean-eating nirvana. The recipe we made came from blogger Zoe of DayDreamerChic and was a cinch to follow, not to mention, grain-free, dairy-free and paleo-friendly, too.

Recipe in hand, we had a go at making this loaf over the weekend, and despite our culinary shortcomings, found that not only was it a total breeze to rustle up, it was also totally tasty too.

What you’ll need:

The recipe combines ground almonds, coconut flour, baking soda and flaxseeds. You’ll also need eggs, honey, coconut oil and sea salt.

The recipe

All you have to do is chuck the almonds, coconut flour, baking soda and flaxseeds into a food processor until they are mixed well together. Then, add in the rest of the ingredients and blend.

Once fully blended, you scrape the mixture out from the food processor and place in a lined bread tin, and then pop into the oven. Finally, when the bread is fully cooked and cooled, simply cut yourself a slice and enjoy with a cuppa!

Tried and tested by STELLAR staffer Pippa, we can confirm that this recipe works really well and is a great alternative to shop-bought bread. It also can be made within 40 minutes, there is minimal mess while cooking, and is really yummy.
