Planning A Trip? This Is The Cheapest Time Of Year To Book Your Flights
You're welcome.
Summer may be over but that doesn’t mean you can’t plan a little holiday, does it? Of course not. We all love a good city break or even an escape to the winter sun, but when’s the best time to book?
Well, according to the European travel service, Opodo, flights are cheapest when you book over the weekend. “Booking on Saturday saves the average passenger 3.95 per cent, while Sunday is 3.37 per cent cheaper,” they reported.
They also added that September and October are the cheapest months to book, AKA right now. As if we needed an excuse to go abroad…
It seems that passengers who book in October save an average of 10.6 per cent on their fare, while those who book in September save approximately 10.18 per cent.
