Did You Think The Creepy Twins From ‘Us’ Looked Super Familiar? Here’s Why

You've definitely seen them somewhere before..

If you haven’t seen Jordan Peele’s latest movie Us yet, we seriously recommend it. Did you think a horror movie couldn’t be funny and scary at the same time? Well, this flick is sure to prove you wrong.

If you have seen it, however, you might be wondering why the twins Becca and Lindsey look so familiar. The characters are played by real life twins Cali and Noelle Sheldon, and although this is the gals first try at a horror movie, it definitely isn’t their first acting endeavour.

The 16-year-old actors also played Rachel and Ross’ baby Emma in Friends. It’s super common for twins to play babies in TV shows and movies – Mary-Kate and Ashley Olson did it, as did Dylan and Cole Sprouse in Friends, too.

Naturally, Twitter users are shook by the revelation.

Crazy, isn’t it?

About their role in the massive movie, Cali and Noelle told their school newspaper that working with such huge actors like Lupita Nyong’o and Winston Duke was a little scary.

“I never really thought I could meet people like [Lupita Nyong’o, Winston Duke, and Elisabeth Moss], so it was a really cool experience,” Noelle said. “I didn’t want to mess up because they were watching. So it was stressful, but in a good way.”

“Everyone there was super friendly, and Jordan Peele was insanely nice and he is an actual genius,” Cali added. “To see him work was really cool, [and] he was super nice to us and he [was] just like a regular guy trying to make us feel comfortable.”
