Who wanted to go out anyway?

Who’s ready for Jennifer Aniston to be back on our screens again? We are!

Dumplin’, a movie based on the hit novel by Julie Murphy, hits Netflix today. The story follows Willowdean Dixon, a plus-size teen who causes quite the stir when she enters a local beauty pageant run by her mom, Rosie (Jennifer Aniston).

The Friends star admitted that she took on a new challenges for the role of Rosie by recording the song Push and Pull with Dolly Parton for the movie.

The 49-year-old spoke to Entertainment Tonight about her recording experience: “I was so nervous but I sang through it and then got my voice. I literally couldn’t have a squeak come out, and then when we finished, I remembered, I just burst into tears.”

“It was terrifying and fun and all of it… it was great. I was fearless, yes, or fearful, depending on how you look at it. But I had Dolly and Linda Perry there, who were just patient and wonderful.”

Jennifer also revealed she has always been able to do accents, but feared if she was doing a southern accent correctly: “I love picking up on accents anyway. It’s something I’ve always been able to do a little, and that one in particular.”

“But I also have a fantastic dialect coach who just sort of would give me little tips here and there. The toughest thing is not knowing if you got it right.”

Oh we can’t wait to watch this! Dumplin’ is on Netflix today. Here’s the trailer for a taster.
