Lady Gaga Reportedly Broke Up With Her Fiancé Because He ‘Infringed On Her Creative Process’, And… Same

Lady Gaga surprised fans earlier this year when, at the height of A Star Is Born mania, she called off her engagement with her fiancé, Christian Carino.

Christian was actually Gaga’s agent, and they first started dating in early 2017 – by November of that year, she was sporting a giant pink diamond engagement ring.

He seemed pretty nuts about her, posting sweet photos on Instagram and even getting a tattoo of her face:

Like their engagement, their breakup was never ‘announced’, but after she stopped wearing her ring to awards shows, her reps confirmed that it was all over.

“It just didn’t work out. Relationships sometimes end,” a source told People. “There’s no long dramatic story.”

That might be true, but this week a source told Us Weekly that Gaga felt Christian ‘infringed on her creative process’ too much, and feared it would impact her career.

As per the tabloid, she “couldn’t risk jeopardising her career in that way, over a man, and that’s not something she would stand for.”

Last month, another source told Us that Christian was “jealous” and clinging to Gaga towards the end of her relationship, texting her all the time. She told you in Telephone, Christian! Stop telephoning her, she’s busy!

Honestly, breaking up with someone for getting in the way of your art is a classic Gaga move. She is never knowingly off-brand.
