People Are Raging Over This Huge Ad For Those ‘Appetite Suppressant’ Lollipops In Times Square

Actress Jameela Jamil has been leading the backlash against the ad.

Jameela Jamil is well known for being outspoken and not shying away from talking about serious issues.

On Twitter last night, The Good Place actress posted a picture of an ad in the centre of New York’s Times Square for the very same ‘appetite suppressant lollipops’ that Kim Kardashian was slammed for advertising.

The ginormous billboard features a picture of a girl sucking two lollipops with the caption, “Got cravings? Girl, tell them to #suckit!” Jameela voiced her disgust for this type of ad being put up the in middle of Times Square:

Jameela previously spoke out about Kim’s ad with the lollipops, calling out the reality star for being a bad influence.

No. F— off. No. You terrible and toxic influence on young girls. I admire their mother’s branding capabilities, she is an exploitative but innovative genius, however this family makes me feel actual despair over what women are reduced to.
