The Spice Girls Have Officially Announced Their Reunion Tour

Minus Victoria BeckhamđŸ˜±

4 out of the 5 original Spice Girls have announced they will be reuniting for a UK tour.

Melanie Chisholm, Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton and Geri Horner made the official announcement in a Facebook Live video where they slagged each other, sang the beginning of Spice Up Your Life, and announced a tour commencing on the 1st of June 2019 with support from Jess Glynne.

It has been a decade since the world’s biggest girl band toured, however this time round they’ll be doing it without fifth band member Victoria Beckham aka Posh Spice.

Victoria, who is said not to be partaking in the reunion due to focusing on her fashion label, congratulated her former band mates on the announcement today.

“Today marks a special day for the girls as they announce the first tour dates since we performed together in 2012! I won’t be joining my girls on stage again but being in the Spice Girls was a hugely important part of my life and I wish them so much love and fun as they go back on tour next year. I know they will put on an amazing show and the fantastic fans past and present are going to have a wonderful time! X vb #spicegirls#friendshipneverends”

Irish fans will be disappointed with the announcement, however, as the gals won’t be visiting us during their six date tour.

The group have not performed the hits such as Wannabe, Spice Up Your Life and Viva Forever since the 2012 Olympics closing ceremony.
