Total Lash! The €16 High Street Mascara Rosanna Used For Her STELLAR Shoot

There’s no doubt about it: Rosanna Davison is a mega babe. The former Miss World and Eat Yourself Fit author is a stunner, but even the gorgeous Ms Davison won’t say no to a little helping hand sometimes.

Rosanna is STELLAR’s October cover girl (find her issue on shelves now), and MUA Michelle Kinsella gave us the lowdown on how to re-create her bronzed end-of-summer glow.

The eyes

Stepping away from the pristine winged liner we’re used to seeing on Rosanna, Michelle went for something a little more smouldering. To begin, lids were primed with a creamy base of MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, before setting with a dusting of MAC Eyeshadow in Brulee all over the eyelid right up to the browbone.

In and underneath the socket, Michelle applied the darkest shade from the I Feel Like a Million Dollars eyeshadow palette from Rosie for Autograph at M&S. This created some gorgeous definition.

 

 

Taking inspiration from A/W ’16 catwalks, Michelle applied MAC Eye Kohl in Smoulder to the base of the lashes using an angled brush, and then smudged it to create a blurred, smokey effect.

Following this a cluster of Ardell Lashes were applied to open up the eye. To really enhance the drama, Michelle coated the lashes with her high-street wonder product: Max Factor’s False Lash Effect Mascara, €15.99.

The face

It’s no small feat being the cover girl, so when it came to foundation Michelle went for something with a little more coverage than usual. Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Foundation was mixed with a few drops of MAC Studio Face and Body to ensure Rosanna was flawless but still remained fresh.

A little under-eye concealer was applied and finally the face was set with Charlotte Tilbury’s Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder, a product which makeup artist Michelle raves about for a flawless finish around the eyes and lips.

 

The lips
Speaking of the lips, how great was Rosanna’s pout in our cover shoot? Michelle used Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat: Pillow Talk Liner and Penelope Pink Hot Lips Lipstick, both gorgeous subtle pink shades.

Hey presto: pout perfection.
