The production is now on hold.
Blake Lively sustained an injury while filming her new movie, The Rhythm Section, in Dublin yesterday.
According to a statement from the Paramount Pictures film studio, the Hollywood star hurt her hand during an action scene and the entire production has been halted as a result. They added that, “production will resume as soon as possible.”
Blake has been in Dublin for a number of weeks to shoot the thriller, in which her character seeks revenge against those who orchestrated a plane crash that killed her family.
Her look for this role is dramatically different to her normal style, as she sports a messy, cropped haircut and wears loose, ill-fitting clothes. She was recently pictured on Talbot Street, dressed in a blue beanie hat, a baggy burgundy coat, purple tracksuit bottoms and chunky, black shoes.
Her skin looked tired and worn as she stood on set, unrecognisable to passers-by.
We can’t wait to see the final product!
