4 Fun Things To Do This Weekend

Got nothing planned for the weekend? Let us fix that for you. Here's what's on...

Sure and House Of Voga at Merrion Square

Voga

This Saturday, Dublin’s Merrion Square will be transformed from a tranquil inner city park into a sweat-inducing, energetic outdoor studio. Julie Murrell, the mastermind behind Voga will be getting hearts racing and you’re invited to try out Sure’s amazing new Motionsense products. If you’ve never heard of Voga, think of the enviable figure of Millie Mackintosh who absolutely swears by it. It starts at 11.30am on Saturday and you’re promised an hour of ’90’s beats and the fiercest new fitness trend you can imagine. Dress Code: Disco sweat. RSVP here.

Open air Pilates in Coolmine

Outdoor yoga

We’re sticking to some body sculpting and healthy activities this weekend in preparation for the bank holiday and over indulgence next weekend. There’s a free pilates class in Coolmine in Blanchardstown on Saturday at 11am and if you feel like sticking around afterwards, there’s a life coach from Pace Pilates giving talks and advice to whoever is interested. All levels are welcome to the open air event, it’s completely free and you can register here for you and a friend now.

The Festival of Curiosity

Curiousity

If you, like us, are also hoping for a sober weekend ahead, this might be a nice one for the books. It’s a festival kicking off today and it has a programme packed full of arts, culture and design taking place in different locations all over Dublin. There will be playful days and curious nights and thousands are expected to be flocking the streets. From date nights to fashion shows to midnight bike rides and ugly animal roadshows, there’ll be something happening that’s sure to tickle your fancy. Here’s the full programme.

Total Vintage kilo Sale

Kilo Sale

Here we go again! This is quite possibly the last kilo sale of the summer and we can’t wait. It’s happening in The RDS and going on from 10am-7pm on Sunday and it’s advisable to get there early to nab the best bits. It’s €20 for a kilo of vintage clothes and some of the stuff is absolutely dreamy. There will be live music, DJs and entertainment going on throughout the day and it’s going to be a simply lovely day out. Check out their Facebook page for further deets.
