Love A Cheeky Aperol Spritz? Aldi’s New ‘Aperini’ Drink Is Half The Price

The taste of summer.

Now that nicer weather is (maybe) on the horizon, we’re starting to envision long evenings sitting outside a pub, drink in hand.

The Aperol Spritz – a mixture of Aperol, prosecco, and soda water – is one of the summeriest drinks we know of, and it’s getting more popular every year.

So popular, in fact, that Aldi have gone and brought out their own version, Aperini. Cheeky, but maybe we like cheeky, considering at €7.99 it’s half the price of Aperol.

If you’re unfamiliar with the taste of an Aperol or Aperini Spritz, imagine summer in a glass. OK, we’re messing, but it’s a combination of orange, rhubarb, vanilla, and herbs and spices – sweet, bitter, and refreshing all at once. Mmm.

The liqueur lands in Aldi stores on March 20. Now all we need is the weather…
