We asked, you answered – here are the top brunch spots in Cork, according to STELLAR’s Twitter followers (follow us @stellarmagazine and add your recommendation below).

Liberty Grill, Washington St

It has one of the most extensive brunch menus we’ve seen – there are a dozen options under the ‘posh toast’ heading. If you’re feeling virtuous, there’s home-made granola, muesli or porridge, while French toast with maple syrup’s also available. The extensive drinks menu – not to mention the delectable mocktails, start at a very reasonable €3.50 each (listen up, everyone else).

The Sextant Bar, Albert Quay

Eggs, avocado and chorizo, please-o! Or if that doesn’t float your boat, everything else on The Sextant‘s menu will: varying sizes of Irish breakfasts, all the egg options you expect, pancakes and French toast for those with a sweet tooth and then for anyone with a serious hunger on them, there are burger and steak choices too. #drooling

The Bodega, St Peter’s Market

Club by night, brunch heaven by day, according to Twitter, The Bodega is all things to all weekenders. And of course, if you wanna combine your brekky with a cocktail you can. Smart move, peeps.

Hasset’s Bakery, various locations

Bread your thing? You’re gonna love this bakery, with spots in Carrigaline, Adelaide Street, in the city, and a restaurant in Crosshaven too. Eggs Benedict, American Pancakes, French Toast and more mark this place out.

Electric, South Mall

Worth a trip for the fab Art Deco building alone, Electric‘s had rave reviews since it opened. There are a variety of spots to eat here as well, with a restaurant, bar and fish bar on site. But bad news: these guys do serve brunch according to our Twitter followers, but we can’t tell you about it because there’s nothing on the Electric site about the menu. We guess you’re gonna have to call in and find out for yourself, eh?

Idaho Cafe, Caroline St

Breakfast is served until 12 in the Idaho Cafe, (Ireland’s best in 2013, appara) and is heavy on sweet treats. Think piping hot porridge, with brown sugar and cream, or cinnamon, toasted brioche with manuka honey or hot belgian waffles with organic maple syrup. Yummy.

Sugarcube, South Mall

Do you love crepes? Then girlfriend, you are in for a treat at Sugarcube. Sweet, savoury and all kinds of delicious are on offer here, as well as a dedicated breakfast menu that focuses on healthy options.

Fenn’s Quay, Sheares St

Heads up: brunch is a Saturday affair at Fenn’s Quay and it’s a good’un with adorable Old Skool options like eggs ‘n’ soldiers and beans on toast plus local faves we’d love to get dug into like The West Corker – Rosscarbery black or white pudding, red onion confit and smoked Gubbeen Cheese toasted on brown or white bread. Mmmm.
