Rip Off? Harry Styles’ New Song Sounds A LOT Like A ’70s Rock Tune And People Are Raging
Have a listen and hear for yourselves...
Harry Styles performed his new song Ever Since New York on Saturday Night Live, and people were quick to comment that they’d heard the music somewhere before.
The 23-year-old is being accused of ripping off the music from ’70s rock band Badfinger.
One fan of Badfinger tweeted, “Love you always Harry but that little riff at the beginning of his new song from SNL is a straight up copy of Badfinger–not even an homage.”
While another said, “I saw this live & immediately recognized the Badfinger guitar riff from “baby blue”. i hope harry gives credit where credit’s due.”
Other fans of the rock band voiced their opinions online too…

I wonder if Harry Styles has ever heard Badfinger's Baby Blue, and if he will hear from their lawyer.

@TwitterMoments @jimmyfallon @Harry_Styles Not very entertaining. And Harry, your hook is a straight ripoff of Badfinger's Baby Blue. Like we didn't notice? #Unoriginal
