This is the news we didn’t know we needed…
Who else remembers Zendaya’s Disney Channel roots? Back in the day we got some absolute bops from the star when she was on Shake It Up, like Something To Dance for/ TTYLOXO ft Bella Thorne and her song Replay from her self titled first album which was released in 2013, and we’d still dance to today tbh.

After leaving Disney Channel Zendaya showed off her vocal ability further in The Greatest Showman singing Rewrite The Stars with Zac Efron, iconic behaviour.

Now, after a few years of focussing on acting, Zendaya is taking a step back into the music industry, having featured on the Euphoria soundtrack working with Labrinth to create some beautifully crafted music for the show.
Last night, the actress and producer tweeted, thanking everyone for their support as she returned to music after a while, writing, “I stepped away from music quite a while ago, for a number of reasons, but I still really love it, so the kindness and support I’ve received the past few days just for a little tiny toe dip back into some music means the absolute world to me..thanks<3”

Does this mean we might be getting more music from the star? We hope so, for now, we are loving her collab with Labrinth but we’d love some more Zendaya music when she’s ready!
We’d wanna put her song on “Replay”… IYKYK
