Nicola Peltz Beckham Admits She Didn’t Get On With Brooklyn Beckham When They Met

Their first meeting at Coachella may not have gone too well...

We all saw these newlyweds celebrate their love with their families in a lavish Miami wedding recently and with their recent loved up spread in British Vogue it’s hard to believe the pair were ever anything but obsessed with each other.

However, in a recent interview with Vogue the actress admitted, “We didn’t get along at first.”

The couple met at Coachella (a true celeb off-spring love story), but it seems like their first interaction wasn’t the best according to Nicola. But Brooklyn proved first impressions can change as they started dating in October 2019, two years after their first meeting and were quickly engaged in March 2020.

Their wedding was star-studded and landed them a cover of British Vogue, presenting themselves to the world as a next generation couple to watch. Nicola wore a custom Valentino coutureย old Hollywood style dress with a square neckline and a long train. The bride included some sweet sentimental nods to her loved ones within the custom gown including her โ€˜something blueโ€™, which was, according to Vogue, an evil eye and a message from her mother which were sewn into the skirt of the gown.

Brooklyn himself also got a surprise in his wedding attire, with his love for labels being referenced as Nicola had a bespoke label sewn into his Dior suit.

Before their wedding went ahead this year, the pair had to postpone the event twice due to the pandemic. During this time they toyed with the idea of a small celebration, Nicola explained to Vogue, “When the world was in lockdown, we went through different variations of what a wedding would look like.โ€

Brooklyn added, โ€œWe werenโ€™t sure if we should do a small one earlier and then a big party. Eventually, we decided we wanted the big wedding as soon as it was possible to do it safely. And weโ€™re so happy we did. It was amazing to be in the presence of so many people we love again.โ€

We loved seeing the big wedding, so we are glad they made that decision!
