Kim Kardashian’s passion for the criminal justice system just got taken to a whole new level as she announced her upcoming true crime Spotify podcast, The System.
Although the 41-year-old aspiring lawyer signed a podcast deal with the streaming platform, back in 2020, she has only now revealed details about the new upcoming series, which she will be hosting, and honestly, we can’t imagine anyone better for the job!
Speaking to Interview magazine, she revealed, “The first season is about a really crazy case where a guy got the death sentence for a triple homicide that happened in Ohio.”

“There are so many twists and turns with how it was handled—or mishandled—and we take the listener along for a journey in search of the truth,” she continued.
The mum of four who previously passed the “Baby Bar” exam in California with a ‘near-perfect’ score, as documented in The Kardashians, has even shared her hopes to eventually open her own law firm in the past. While her podcast plans to focus on stories pertaining to criminal justice reform, in which she has taken a keen interest in recent years.
Following her late father, Robert Kardashian, who was a criminal defence attorney, Kim has been using her celebrity platform to shed light on mass incarceration, as shown in Oxygen’s two-hour documentary The Justice Project, which focused on the conviction and eventual presidential pardon of Alice Marie Johnson.

The Kardashians star also recently launched a private equity investment firm SKKY Partners along with co-founder Jay Sammons with momager Kris Jenner serving as a partner. The firm will target sectors including consumer products, digital, e-commerce, consumer media, entertainment, hospitality, and luxury. Honestly, it’s non-stop for this woman!!
Sadly, we don’t have a release date for the podcast as of yet but, not all hope is lost as the second season of The Kardasians is due to premiere later this month!! So at least we can get our Kim content there, as we patiently await The System.
