The 1975 Announce Summer Gigs in Dublin and Cork

Get ready to party, The 1975 are bringing their ‘At Their Very Best’ tour to Ireland again this summer. The two time BRIT winning band will be taking to stages in St Anne’s Park, Dublin on June 7 and Cork’s Musgrave Park on June 13.

They performed a sold out show in the 3 Arena last month as part of their UK and Ireland tour also selling out Belfast’s SSE Arena and two nights at the 02 London.

Tickets will go on sale on Friday February 24 at 9am from ticketmaster.ie with prices starting from €49.90.

The Manchester born group have taken to Irish stages on numerous occasions over the last number of years, firmly establishing themselves as an act at the forfront of their generation.

They took home the award for Best Rock/Alternative Act at this year’s BRITs. Their five-album career has encompassed glossy pop, punk, garage rock, electro-funk and country sounding records with lyrics exploring mental health, addiction, climate change and nihilism.

Their latest album ‘Being Funny in a Foreign Language’, was their fifth consecutive number one album in the UK. It was praised for its enigmatic and contradictory songcraft.
