Michelle Keegan Set to Star in New Netflix Thriller
Michelle Keegan has been announced as the star of a brand new Netflix thriller, and it’s based on a Harlan Coben book!
The Coronation Street actress will star in Fool Me Once, an eight part thriller based on the 2016 best-selling novel by award-winning author Harlan Coben.
Michelle will play a grief stricken mother whose husband has been murdered. Her grief turns to confusion when she sees a man resembling her husband entering her house. She spots him on a nanny cam that she installs to keep an eye on her young daughter.
At the same time, Maya’s (Michelle Keegan) niece and nephew are trying to dig up the truth surrounding their mother’s murder, as they lean towards the idea that both cases are connected.
Keegan stars alongside Richard Armitage, Adeel Akhtar and Joanna Lumley and many more.

Adeel appears as the lead detective who holds some dark secrets of his own and Joanna will appear as Keegan’s mother-in-law. Richard Armitage plays the role of Maya Stern’s murdered husband – or not murdered who knows with all the twists and turns Coben throws our way.
The story has been relocated from its original US setting to Manchester with filming having begun recently, however there has been no release date announced, so it looks like we will just have to wait!
The show will be the eight book to screen adaptation for Harlan Coben who has worked with local screenwriters globally to bring his award winning books to life on screen. Speaking on the new series he said: “I’m thrilled and honoured to once again be collaborating with my uber-talented partners Danny, Nicola and Richard. ‘Fool Me Once’ will be our fourth Netflix series together, and man, it never gets old!”
He continues saying: “‘Fool Me Once’ is a pulse-pounder — a shocking story of how secrets and deceit have the power to bring people together while simultaneously tearing them apart. I can’t wait to see how this dream cast brings these characters to life.”
