These Love Island 2023 Finalists Have Reportedly Broken Up

Grab the tissues, it looks like Samie and Tom have called it quits!

The couple, who came third in the most recent season of Love Island have reportedly broken up, just one month after leaving the show.

According to The UK Sun, a source said, “Samie and Tom have sadly decided to call it a day. There is a lot of love and respect there but it just wasn’t going anywhere. The distance between them was too much and they are both really focused on their careers post Love Island.”

Samie is from Essex and Tom is from Barnsley so the pair have been trying to make their relationship work long-distance since leaving the villa.

The couple seemed pretty solid on social media, but of course, you never know what is going on behind closed doors. Samie’s last grid post with Tom was uploaded on April 4th, while Tom’s  is from the 5th, however, he posted a picture of himself last week with the caption, “@samieelishi must of said something funny for once behind the camera.”

This suggests they could have been hanging out very recently, Samie commented on that post with heart hands emojis and wrote, “I AM THE FUNNY ONE”.

Neither of the pair have publicly commented on the reported split just yet, so we will be keeping an eye on their socials…
