F1 Driver Fernando Alonso Fuels Taylor Swift Dating Rumours With New TikTok

Spanish Formula 1 driver Fernando Alonso has been rumoured to be ‘seeing’  Karma singer, Taylor Swift over the last couple of weeks.

Well it seems he’s just added some fuel to that fire with a seriously ambiguous new TikTok he posted to his social media yesterday.

The rumoured relationship was originally picked up by some Spanish magazines. The tip was sent to celebrity gossip page Deux Moi who gave the contained rumour a life of its own, clueing the entire world into the possibility.

The one with the tip said: “A couple of Spanish magazines have been posting about TS and Spanish F1 driver Fernando Alonso. According to them the couple has been seeing each other for a week now. Nothing serious tho since they are both recently single.”

The unverified rumours sent fans into a tailspin. The 41-year-old F1 driver appeared to address the rumours in a TikTok video he posted to his account at the beginning of the week.

Taylor’s song Karma played in the background while the ruggedly handsome driver smiled and winked at the camera.

He captioned the post “Race week era” in what seemed to be a reference to Taylor’s Era’s Tour, currently taking place across the US.

Fans of both Formula 1 and Taylor Swift took to the comments in a frenzy commenting: “NOT THE SONG 😭😭😭“. While another realied to the video saying: “Ohhhh Fernando knows ALL TOO WELL what he’s doing 👀“.

This comes only weeks following Taylor’s split with Joe Alwyn after 6 years together and Fernando announcing his split from girlfriend Andrea Schlager.

Following his win at the Australian Grand Prix he posted a photo of himself and Formula 1 journalist Andrea along with a caption detailing their amicable split.

He said: “We wanted to tell you that our relationship as a couple ended. We have been lucky enough to share a fantastic time together, and it will continue to be so, but on a different form of affection.”

He continued on saying: “As you have probably seen, we have continued working on and off track on various projects together also during this time, and we will keep doing so with deep love and respect for each other. We thought it is appropriate to share this as you have all been very supportive. Thanks for that.”

This rumoured relationship comes alongside the speculation Joe Alwyn has moved on from his seemingly amicable split from Ms. Swift. He has been linked to a Scottish actress after she posted a photo of him on social media.
