Maya Vander Announces Birth Of Her ‘Rainbow Baby’

A massive congratulations is in order for Selling Sunset star Maya Vander who announced the arrival of her rainbow baby daughter, Emma Reign.

The joyous news was shared to her Instagram on Thursday with a photo of her cradling the newborn alongside her adoring husband David Miller. 

The photo was captioned: “Welcome to the world Emma Reign! My rainbow baby! This was a long nine months as I kept my pregnancy as quiet as possible from social media. I gave birth a few days ago and words can not express my sense of relief and happiness!”

Maya went on to thank her doctors too;

“Thank you so much @femcareobgyn and Dr Senemar. Thank you to the amazing nurses at Baptist hospital. I will forever be grateful and yes I’m wearing a mask because of course I had the worse cold but I made it to push a baby with full stuffy nose;)”

A rainbow baby is a child born to a woman after she suffers a miscarriage, stillbirth, or loss of an infant.

In 2021 Maya shared the heartbreaking news that she had suffered a miscarriage at 10 weeks, this came just six months after she went through a stillbirth in December of 2021. 

The wonderful news of her daughter comes just shortly after it was confirmed that she will not be returning for the new season of Selling Sunset this year. 

The popular real estate agent confirmed saying she would be focusing on her work on the South-East coast as her main priority, while she spends time with her family.

While we will certainly miss Maya’s presence on the show, we could not be more delighted for her.
