Here’s Everything We Know About New Love Island Bombshell Sammy Root

Last night’s episode of Love Island was definitely one for the books from a game of Ready, Sex, Go to Mehdi making his move on Whitney – our eyes were glued to the screen.

But it was the arrival of a brand new bombshell that really put the cherry on top of an exciting episode. While the islanders chilled on the daybeds, Ella gets a text from none-other than our new bombshell Sammy, who was tasked to pick three girls he wanted to bring on dates and get to know. And, who did he choose?… Ella, Molly and Jess.

Twenty two-year-old Sammy hails from Kent and works as a project manager.

When asked why someone would want to date him Sammy said: “I stand out from everyone else purely on appearance. Most attractive people have the personality of a sponge, but I’m not lacking in that department either.”

So why did Sammy choose to head into the Love Island villa now? Well, according to the Kent native he’s always got girls on his mind, so  “what better way to find a nice girl than on Love Island”.

When asked what he thinks he’ll bring to the villa, Sammy immediately says energy. “Lots of guys have pretty faces and nice bodies, which I have too, but I’ve also got the bubbly personality, I’m a bit of a firework.”
