We feel like we’ve been talking about Taylor Swift tickets for years… and they still haven’t gone on sale.

The general sale for Irish tickets has been moved to Thursday the 20th of July after a third date was announced. Which sounds like good news until you realise just how many people have registered for tickets.

Fans who wanted to get their hands on tickets were asked to register in an attempt to stop resellers getting tickets.

And now the staggering figures of how many people signed up have been revealed.

According to reports around 500,000 fans registered to take part in Ticketmaster’s upcoming sale. Yes, half a million. Cool.

It really will be The Great War as there are only 165,000 allocated tickets for the three nights next June.

Taylor is due to take to the stage in the Aviva on the 28th, 29th and 30th of June next summer.

She will begin her tour of Europe in Paris on May 9th before wrapping things up in London’s Wembley Stadium on August 17th.

Fans can try to get their tickets on Friday for the first time with an exclusive presale open only to people in Ireland and the UK.

General sale was due to take place this Thursday but has now been moved to next Thursday the 20th.

Fans were given the opportunity to register for the gigs before June 22nd, with the lucky ones being given a unique code last week giving them access to the tickets.

Good luck and we hope you survive The Great War. Really.
