Bombshell Josh Brocklebank Is ‘Best Friends’ With This Former Islander

Leah Taylor was bestfriends with Maura Higgins, Ella B knew Tyrique Hyde before walking through the heart-shaped arches, Tyrique was pals with Toby Aromolaran and now we’ve discovered another islander that might have been sent a refer a friend code as bombshell Josh Brocklebank is also close with a villa alum.

Josh entered the villa, alongside Ella B, earlier this week, but while his fellow bombshell made her connections known, Josh was less open. But his bestie Zara McDermott was cheering for him on the outside anyway.

The 26-year-old rose to fame after her 10 day stint on the fourth series of the reality dating show back in 2018, and joined E4’s reality series Made In Chelsea not long after.

Taking to Instagram, she wrote:  “Josh & I have been best friends since we were 2 years old. He’s really kind, has the best sense of humour, he’s one of the nicest people I know, hence why we’ve been friends for so long!!”

Concerned for her friend’s wellbeing, Zara also reminded fans the it is just a show, and viewers don’t always get the full story.

“It’s important to remember that you can’t get to know someone from a tiny clip and we shouldn’t be making comments or judging anyone in any way. We should all be excited for some new additions to the villa and see what their personalities will bring, rather than making throw away comments on social media!” she stressed.

The Made In Chelsea star also wished her pal luck, writing: “This is a once in a lifetime experience for anyone who walks through those villa doors. Good luck Josh!!”

And it seems Josh is following Zara’s lead, and making waves during his stay in the Love Island villa.

In last night’s recoupling, Josh opted to couple up with Jess, despite the fact she was in a “closed-off” couple with Sammy.

While the islanders might not be to fond of his choice, the public are backing the coupling.
