TikTok Trend Alert: Manga Lashes Are The Next Big Beauty Look
Will you give them a go?
Whether you’re TikTok savvy or not, you can’t deny every worthwhile beauty trend this year has come from the video sharing platform. That’s why we’re excited to jump on the newest one heading our way.
As you may have assumed from their apt name, Manga lashes are defined by the looks we see in comics and graphic novels originating from Japan. Big eyes and even bigger fluffier lashes are the feel we’re going for.

For those who are unfamiliar with the Manga universe, the hairs of these characters’ lashes tend to grow into pointy clusters that are spaced out along the top and bottom lash lines, giving them that desired spiky look.
The TikTok hashtag (#mangalashes) currently has over 248 million video views, so you won’t be alone trying out this new lash trend.

It essentially involves applying clusters of large fluffy lashes to your eyes instead of a strip lash alternating between long and short styles, to give yourself that fanned out effect.
When applying cluster the lashes together before leaving a space and then applying another cluster continuing on until you’ve done both top and bottom lashes.

It’s definitely worth a try for those of you that like a longer lash but anyone who likes a natural looking eye we’d say you could probably give this one a miss.
