A Definitive Top 10 Ranking Of The Best Christmas Films Ever

Don't @ me

The festive season is here – you better not cry, and you absolutely better not pout.

If you plan to spend December sitting around and watching some films, good for you, you’re not the only one.

But if you’re stuck on what to watch, never fear, because I’ve put together a comprehensive list of the top 10 best Christmas films ever, as decided by me.

Despite the fact that it is decided by me, it is accurate. Unequivocally.

Please enjoy.

10. Jack Frost

Listen, this is a banger of a film. It’s weird, but it’s great. And it’s my number 10.

9. The Holiday

Some years, I like the Holiday. Other years, I hate the Holiday. This year, I think it’s fine and inoffensive, so it’s going on the list.

8. Love, Actually

Love, Actually is………. All around. And it’s eighth on this list.

7. Home Alone

Home Alone is a classic. A cat and mouse story, a festive comedy, and one of the most instantly quotable films in history.

6. Gremlins

Apart from that weird scene about your one’s dad getting stuck in the chimney, this is an excellent movie. No notes.

5. The Muppet Christmas Carol

Somehow, I only watched this for the first time last year. Sir Michael Caine, you deserve all the awards.

4. The Grinch

I refuse to call this film How The Grinch Stole Christmas. That is not the name of the film. It is, however, an unreal flick and Taylor Momsen slays.

3. It’s a Wonderful Life

This is the most beautiful film in the world and I won’t have a bad word said against it.

2. The Santa Claus

A potentially controversial choice here, but the Santa Claus is excellent. A solid transformation? Pissy Tim Allen? Bernard the Elf?! What more could you need?

1. Elf

SANTAAAAAA. Elf is the best Christmas movie, hands down, and not just because Patrick Keilty was rocking those tights on the Late Late last year. No one can do it like you, Will Ferrell.
