Everything We Know So Far About Meghan Markle’s New Lifestyle Brand
Interesting alright...
The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle took to Instagram last Thursday to tease us with a new lifestyle brand.
Named after her and the Duke of Sussex, Harry’s estate in California, American Riviera Orchard, Meghan’s new brand is rumoured to reflect everything that she loves – cooking, family life and home decor.
The social media account has over 540k followers in just 5 days with just the logo of the new business venture posted in a series of images. Mentioned in the logo is Montecito the name of their neighbourhood where American Riveria Orchard is situated.
The bio of the Instagram account simply reads “by Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex. Established 2024” with a link to the brand’s website where you can join a waitlist

The first Instagram story posted was a retro-style video that shows Meghan cooking in the kitchen and arranging flowers with the song I Wish You Love by Nancy Wilson playing in the background.
A source told PEOPLE magazine that this is something Meghan, 42, has wanted to do for a long time and that the Duchess is excited to share everything that she loves. The source also said, “Meghan finds the name American Riviera Orchard perfect. It feels authentic to her. She can’t wait for the website to launch.”
The Suits actress is currently awaiting a trademark application that is under examination for American Riveria Orchard. This application reveals the brand’s plan to sell food such as jams and spreads, tableware, decanters and even cookbooks!
Meghan is no stranger to running a lifestyle brand. In 2014 she ran her own blog The Tig, where she shared her favourite recipes, travel and reflections. She shut down The Tig in 2017 a year before she married prince Harry.
Although it was rumoured that Prince Harry had something to do with the abrupt ending to her blog, Meghan said that she shut down The Tig to focus on her humanitarian work and the filming of Suits.

This is the first time in four years that the Duchess and the Duke of Sussex have been public on social media.
The pair made their last update to the Sussex Royal Instagram account when they announced that they would be stepping down as senior royals in January 2020.
Since, the couple has had two children Prince Archie of Sussex, 4, and Princess Lilibet of Sussex, 2.
While Meghan has yet to confirm what exactly the lifestyle brand will entail, we are very excited to see what’s to come from the new business venture.
