Just in case you’ve been living under a rock or perhaps in a particularly dull corner of the internet, Nara Smith is the latest ‘it girl’ on TikTok, and for many reasons.

She isn’t your run-of-the-mill creator we’re used to seeing; this girl has a lore and mystery like no other content creator out there. Nara has mastered her own form of fantasy content—blatantly unrealistic, yet completely captivating.

You might have stumbled across Nara when she was accused of being a TikTok trad wife—someone who believes in maintaining traditional gender roles and leaving their career to focus on their family’s needs.

She was quick to shut this down in a video, stating,”I wasn’t aware that finding joy in cooking for my husband and kids would automatically mean that I just slave away in the kitchen.”

This girl has created some of the wildest recipes ever: bubblegum, sunscreen, Coca-Cola—you name it; chances are, Nara has made it from scratch in her million-dollar kitchen. This 22-year-old puts us normies to shame, standing head to toe in couture, makeup perfectly done, all whilst cooking up homemade deodorant for her husband and three kids.

With Nara’s recent rise to stardom, wait until you hear her unexpected origin story and how she ended up marrying one of the world’s most famous male models.

Nara Aziza Smith was born in Bloemfontein, South Africa, where her mother is from, before moving to Germany at just three months old. She spent her childhood in Frankfurt, Germany, before relocating to California at 18 to pursue a modelling career.

Incredibly, just six months after arriving in the U.S., Nara married Lucky—yes, you heard that right; Nara was 18 and Lucky was 24. Less than a year into their marriage, they welcomed their first child, and since then, they’ve continued to expand their family, welcoming a new child each year following their nuptials.

Suddenly, the Mormon accusations don’t seem so far-fetched, do they?… but wait until you hear the names of Nara and Lucky’s children: Rumble Honey, Slim Easy, and Whimsey Lou.

Nara and Lucky have been on the receiving end of a lot of online mockery following the announcement of their children’s names, but nonetheless, the children are gorgeous, and Nara seems to have taken to motherhood a little too well, creating cereal and cheese from scratch for her three kids.

More recently, several fashion houses have taken notice of Nara’s rising popularity and invited her to Fashion Week, where she and Lucky sit front row, like two statuesque greyhounds dressed to the nines.

Neither Lucky nor Nara are known for big personalities or loud personas, but their appeal is undeniably fascinating. Nara’s ability to market her own brand is equally impressive.

One standout moment when Nara’s unique cooking videos crossed into the world of high fashion was when she ‘baked’ a Marc Jacobs bag from scratch. Yes, you read that right—she baked a new season red calf leather tote bag in her oven.

Needless to say, the internet lost its mind when the 22-year-old pulled a red Marc Jacobs tote out of the oven after pretending to make it from scratch! The woman is a genius—talk about incredible marketing. Nara is well aware of the irony in her content and isn’t afraid to poke fun at us all.

It’s no surprise that fashion houses are eager for Nara to wear their clothes in her videos, as each one effortlessly attracts over ten million views. She’s quickly surpassing her husband’s early 2010s fame—when he went viral for his looks and appeared on the Ellen Show.

Nara now boasts more followers on Instagram and an impressive 10 million followers on TikTok. Once known simply as the wife of the 2016 Tumblr ‘it boy,’ she has carved out her own audience and discovered a talent for content creation at just 22, all while raising three kids and supporting her husband.

How she finds time for all this is beyond us. I, for one, can’t wait to see how she progresses in the fashion world while balancing her trad wife persona on TikTok.
