The Traitors’ Andrew Is Going To Be A Daddy!

Andrew Moloney certainly made his mark on The Traitors Castle.

From keeping his relationship with Paudie a secret, to “Daddy Gate”, to becoming a Traitor himself.

However, he wasn’t able to make it far in the castle after his own father Paudie blackmailed him into becoming a Traitor. He was quickly found out and banished from Slane.

While he didn’t win the show, he does have some better news!

He revealed that his wife is expecting their first child. Speaking on Uncloaked, he revealed that he found out he was going to become a Daddy just a week before starting to film the RTÉ show.

“I just applied and kept getting through the stages and I was like, ‘This is getting closer and closer to maybe getting it’. She was so excited,” he explained.

“We found out actually a week before I went into the castle that we’re expecting. I’m going to become Daddy! It’s like Pokemon, I’ve evolved through the Traitors!”

He spoke about the surprise revelation that his father Paudie, was also on the show as neither of them told each other they were taking part in The Traitors.

“I threw the [application] link into the family group chat because we all like it, then I got a thumbs up from him. I was like, ‘Grand’,” he explained.

“So then I applied. He asked did I hear anything back and I said no, and he said the same. And that was it.

“You’re told early don’t tell anyone, keep it schtum, keep it to one person – so I kept to my wife. He obviously kept it to his wife, my mam.”

We’ll miss Andrew on The Traitors.
