The Victoria’s Secret fashion show returned to New York City for the second time this week following its six-year hiatus… and it was bolder than ever.
With a diverse group of Angels dazzling the runway alongside the all-female musical lineup in a glamorous collection of lingerie and wings – it’s safe to say that the 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion was a success.
The glamour and fashion of Wednesday night’s show was no doubt an upgrade from last year’s. When the show announced its return in 2024, many believed that the time of The VS Fashion Show had passed – but its comeback was welcomed, as the show was promised to comply with today’s fashion landscape and would have a new inclusive vision, all while keeping the glamour of the past.

However, many felt that the 2024 show was a lacklustre and rushed attempt in bringing the Angels back to the runway.ย The beyond simple outfits paired with smaller-than-usual wings, left many people disappointed in the show’s production, and was deemed a failed attempt to change the brand’s identity.
Here’s the highlights from yesterday’s revamped show and all the best looks we saw grace the runway.

Dripped in gold and pearl, Jasmine Tookes opened the show wearing this majestic look that was beautifully crafted around her baby bump. Tookes, who is nine months pregnant, commanded the attention of the audience in this stunningly elegant look and was certainly the perfect model to open the show.
Sports stars Angel Reese and Suni Lee taking the runway

WNBA star Angel Reese and Olympic gymnast Suni Lee made history as the first professional athletes to take the Victoria’s Secret runway. This bold yet iconic move sets a new standard for future VS shows, and is an extravagant way to expand the variety of women we see take on the role of a Victoria’s Secret Angel.
The return of veteran Angels

This year’s runway featured the return of iconic OG Angels – Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrioso and Candice Swanepoel, who graced the runaway with their signature walks while dressed in pure glamour, reminiscent of their looks from the early days of the show.

We were given an exciting sneak peek into some of the backstage moments of the show this year, with Angels in the iconic Victoria’s Secret robes and hair rollers as they got dolled up to take the runway. Highlighting the comeback of bombshell glam, this behind the scenes footage was a perfect glimpse into the fashion show festivities and made the event all the more exciting!

With a medley of some of her most iconic songs, Missy Elliot took the Victoria’s Secret stage and provided an electrifying finale to the show. This performance was full of energy and was perfect in accompanying the Angels as they walked the runway.
