Derry Girls creator, Lisa McGee, is back and we couldn’t be more excited.
Her next project is coming to Netflix in February and now we have our first look at the TV series.
How to Get to Belfast From Heaven is led by Roísín Gallagher as Saoirse, Sinéad Keenan as Robyn and Caoilfhionn Dunne as Dara.
In the trailer, we see the trio reunite after they learn their childhood friend has sadly passed away. They all return to Belfast, but not everything is as it seems.
Now they must come together to find out what really happened to their friend.
We see stars like Bronagh Gallagher, Natasha O’Keeffe and Ardal O’Hanlon in the trailer who star as supporting characters. And Derry Girls fans were in for a treat as Saoirse Monica Jackson will also make an appearance in the show!
The synopsis reads: “Clever, chaotic TV writer Saoirse, glamorous, stressed-out mother of three Robyn, and dependable, inhibited carer Dara have been a tight-knit group since school. Now in their late 30s, but still as close as ever, these three friends are about to embark on the most thrilling adventure of their lives.

“When an email arrives, telling them about the death of the estranged fourth member of their childhood gang, a series of eerie events at her wake set them on a dark, dangerous and hilarious odyssey through Ireland and beyond as each tries to piece together the truth of the past. A show about friendship, memory and what happens when life doesn’t turn out quite like you’d expected.”
