Charlie’s Reaction To Being Dumped On Love Island Says It All

"I just wanted to get to know the girls"

Last night’s episode of Love Island was one for the ages.

There was a dumping, but it wasn’t just any dumping, it was a dumping of savage proportions.

Maya gathered all of the islanders around the firepit to reveal that the public had been voting for their favourite boy and favourite girl.

Millie and Scott were then announced as the public’s top islanders – good for them.

Some others, however, landed in the bottom. They were: AJ, Whitney, Jess, Charlie, Konnor, and Sean.

Maya then revealed that Millie and Scott would then have to choose who to save – and who to send home.

And to everyone’s surprise, Millie chose Charlie. Scenes.

Why is this shocking? Most notably because Millie was in a couple with Charlie and had been getting to know him since they entered the villa.

However Charlie’s behaviour in recent days had left a sour taste in Millie’s mouth and she sent him home, leaving herself single. Honestly, fair play.

Millie said that she had seen some “red flags” over the past few days, as Charlie had continued to pursue Jess.

She said she had to “go with her heart” and save the people she thought were actually there for a right reasons: “I don’t like the secrecy. Every day is a new thing and I just keep being in this drama, I can’t be arsed for it.”

Understandably, people were shocked – including Charlie who said, “I’m a little bit [shocked] to be fair, I’m a bit blindsided by it, but yeah, it is what it is. I would say I thought she’d give it a chance from what we had.”

He added: “People sticking their nose in our business, or my business to be specific, and just making a lot of noise around my connection.

“Mills didn’t want drama, I didn’t want drama, I just wanted to get to know the girls and that was it really, that’s what I was in there for.”

Charlie also said he had no idea Millie saw “red flags” in his behaviour, “To be honest, I’ve not heard much from her from feelings, we’ve just had a few kisses and a few really nice moments.”
