Here’s What Team STELLAR Is Loving This Week

Happy Friday

We’re here.

At the end of the week, once again, and eager to know what Team STELLAR have been loving this week.

Before we take to the sun and bask in it for the entire weekend, of course.

Here’s all the bits.

Head of Digital Jade is loving… Açai

Anyone who knows me, knows I love an açai bowl.

I love the flavour, I love the texture, and I love all of the delicious, crunchy toppings, obviously.

Açai has been taking over Ireland this past year, and now you can even get it in Insomnia! The cafe chain has teamed up with açai brand SAMBAZON to bring berry bowls to 16 of their stores.

Go for Totally Bananas, Berrylicious, or All in One, and enjoy a refreshing treat while sucking down your iced coffee or delicious flat white. Gorge.

Editorial intern Nia is loving… ELEMIS Pro-collagen Body Cleansing Balm

I’ll be honest, I had never even thought of cleansing my body before I learned it should be an essential according to skin and well-being expert, Keeley Aydin.

Whether it was out of pure laziness or just lack of education, I never realised you should be treating your skin with the same care as your face. That all changed when I found out all the benefits of adding a cleanser to your shower routine, and the ELEMIS Pro-collagen Body Cleansing Balm is sensational.

This product gives your skin the same love and allows you to treat yourself to a spa ritual with every shower. The formula is packed with hydrating ingredients that lock in moisture and nourish the skin barrier. I honestly don’t think my skin has ever felt this soft and fresh and I get so excited to start my shower routine now that I know I am properly treating my skin.

Commercial Manager Patrick is loving… Thérapie Clinic at Beauty MRKT

Beauty lovers heading to Dundrum Town Centre  this weekend should make a stop at Beauty MRKT, where Thérapie Clinic will make its debut from 24–26 April. The team will be offering free Thérascan skin consultations all weekend, along with personalised advice and the chance to learn more about their treatments.

There are also some fun event perks in store. Visitors can take part in the “Trade Your Razor for Laser” initiative by bringing along used razors to recycle and receiving a free laser hair removal session in return. On Sunday, Dr. Raymond Seedhoo will join beauty journalist Triona McCarthy for a live session on the latest trends in aesthetics, from preventative skincare to achieving natural-looking results. Guests can also enjoy 10% off treatment courses plus free aftercare when booking on-site.

Tickets are FREE and can be booked online.

Jade is loving… The Mini Universal Bag

Designer Anya Hindmarch and Tesco have teamed up to launch a new edition of the Universal Bag – but smaller.

The Mini Universal Bag is here, and it’s the ideal bag to bring along to the office, to pack your lunch in, or to use as a cute lil handbag, perfect for storing your many, many things.

Made from 100% recycled and recyclable materials, the bag is both durable and practical… and really, really cute.

The Mini Universal Bag is available to buy in Tesco stores now for just €11.

Nia is loving… Anti-redness tinted moisturisers

As a girly who struggles with redness always on her face – trust me I have tried everything to help it – from creams to acids, it doesn’t go away. I am sick and tired of using base products like green colour corrector then concealer then foundation everyday just to slightly cover it up.

It gets boring and by the end of the day, all that product on my face feels heavy and un-nourishing. It’s almost hard to believe, but I have found a product that I can wear daily that has so many benefits, including helping to cover up the unwanted redness.

Cetaphil’s Tinted  Moisturiser for redness prone skin works wonders, it hydrates, protects and helps to even out my skin tone. The product also has SPF 30 which makes it perfect for the summer days ahead.

I now wear this product almost every day and night, it’s a perfect base just to have alone or you can easily blend your other makeup products on top.

… Coke Zero Zero

Coca Cola but make it double zero.

If you’re a fan of Coke Zero (Coke with zero calories, for those unfamiliar), but you find yourself unable to drink Coke Zero in the evening because of the caffeine, have we got the product for you.

Coca-Cola Zero Caffeine Zero Sugar has just relauched in Ireland, with new, classy black and gold packaging. Sam Sparrow would be proud.

It’s Coke but with two zeros. You get it.

Nia is loving… 3in1 styling brush

We can all agree, sometimes throughout the week you can get so busy and tired that the thought of doing a hair wash just gets to be too much.

With not having the energy to wash your hair, you then need a quick and easy hairstyle to maintain the mane, the most popular being a slick back. I have been trying to perfect my slick back for quite some time now but was not willing to spend too much money on something I only do a few days out of the month.

I was browsing through Penneys, as we all do from time to time, and I spotted a 3-in1 slick back brush. For only 2 euro I thought I may as well give it a chance.

Let me tell you this brush has saved my slick backs; it slicks the hair wherever you want it to go and makes the struggle a whole bunch easier. The brush also has some pink on it, so it makes me feel aesthetic when using it.
