Heartbreak as first contestant is dumped from Love Island

We can’t believe that we’ve gone this long with officially dumping anyone from the villa.

While George Knight left the show for “private reasons”, everyone else has been safe from public voting and being dumped at the fire pit.

However, a recoupling sent shock waves through the villa, seeing three girls left single.

Angelista, Ellie and Robyn were no longer in couples after two female bombshells entered the villa.

However, the drama didn’t end there.

24-year-old Simba and 28-year-old Tommy made their way into the villa to save two girls from being dumped from the show.

Ultimately, Simba chose Angelista, and Tommy coupled up with Ellie. This meant that poor Robyn was the last girl standing.

She then received a text which read: “You are now single and therefore dumped from the island. Please pack your bags and say your goodbyes.”

While the girls were absolutely devastated to say goodbye to their pal, Robyn reminded them: “Guys don’t be upset. It is what it is.”

Robyn’s mother spoke to BBC about her pride for her daughter and admitted it was hard to not be able to speak to her every day.

“We’re so close. I speak to Robyn multiple times a day and to know that you’re not going to have contact with your daughter for possibly up to 10 weeks was really difficult for me,” she explained.

She added: “I’m super proud of her.”
