Here’s What Team STELLAR Is Loving This Week
Gorge, gorge, gorge
June is nearly over – can you believe it?
Summer always flies, but this year it feels like time is going extra fast.
Is it the good weather? The vibes? The simple fact that we are mortal beings and ever aware of the passing of time?
Who can say for sure. All we know is that we’ve been loving a certain amount of things this week. Here you go.
… Soft scents
I recently got a puppy, and you best believe I’ve had a candle going day in and day out since then.
Do I love my dog? Yes. Do I love the idea of the house smelling like dog? Not, really no.
Max Benjamin’s range of candles and diffusers have long been my go-to when it comes to taking a moment for myself, lighting up a gorge scent, and chilling out.
And keeping the sitting room smelling fresh and lovely while a puppy runs around causing chaos, obviously.
At the moment I’ve got their French Linen Water candle on the go. It’s floral, it’s fresh, and fairly divine.
… Expertly lined lips
I love a good lip liner. I have a lot of them. And I like using them.
One of my all time fav brands, Merit Beauty, recently expanded their lip liner offering, which was great news for me personally, because I adore their lip liners.
These minimalist liners deliver soft definition, hydrating comfort, and sheer, buildable colour that glides onto the lips like a dream.
My one gripe with so many lip liners are that they don’t work well with my often dry skin. More often than not I’m left piercing my lips with the tip, just to get a bit of colour on there.
Not with these liners – they’re beautifully pigmented, come in 14 shades, and will go with just about any makeup look. J’adore.
… Good food
If you were a student in Dublin, you’re most likely well aware of KC Peaches.
The casual dining spot selling coffees, lunches, and an insane buffet offering that is so, so reasonable.
KC Peaches is celebrating 20 years in business this year, and they’re celebrating by launching their new elevated dining experience in their Stephen’s Green location.
Peaches Brasserie is focused on fire-led cooking, and boasts a menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with dishes like steak, shakshuka, sharing plates, and more.
The restaurant has had a new refurb, and there’s even a private dining area too. Gorge.
… A cleansed body
We talk a lot about cleansing our faces after a long, hard day of being outside, but what about our bodies?
Sure, we wash them. Yes, we moisturise after a shower. But what about full body cleansing?
Elemis’s Pro Collagen Body Cleansing Balm has become my new favourite shower ritual. Lash it on after your shower gel, wash it off, and leave your skin feeling just glorious afterwards.
Formulated with saccharide isomerate, the balm hydrates the skin and also helps to support the skin barrier.
It contains a fermented version of padina pavonica algae, which helps to lock in moisture, as well as Echium, camelina and starflower botanical oils help to nourish and smooth the skin.
Honestly, Elemis truly are elite.
