We’re always so excited to see Saoirse Ronan on our screens.

She’s tapping into her comic side for her upcoming role in the film, Bad Apples.

The film is based on Rasmus Andersson’s 2020 novel De oönskade (The Unwanted).

Saoirse stars as Maria, a primary school teacher, who wants to inspire her students as best she can.

However, that’s easier said than done as one unruly student, Danny, tries to get in her way.

After finding Danny outside the school one night, Maria brings him into her home. However, when he absolutely destroys her home, she is left with no choice but to lock him in her home.

When she realises that her class is flourishing without the disruptive student and the rest of his peers don’t seem to miss him, she is faces a predicament.
