Hold On, Are Raye & Michael B. Jordan Dating?

Michael B. Jordan and British singer Raye have sparked romance rumours after the pair were spotted enjoying a day out together at Six Flags Magic Mountain in California.

The actor, 39, and the ‘Escapism.’ singer, 28, were seen riding roller coasters at the Los Angeles-area amusement park on Friday, August 7, with footage and photos from the outing quickly making their way across social media.

In a TikTok video shared by a fan, the pair can be seen sitting beside each other on a roller coaster moments before the ride takes off. Raye appears to be enjoying the moment as she raises her hands in the air before encouraging Jordan to do the same.

While their amusement park outing has inevitably led fans to wonder whether there could be something romantic developing between the pair, the status of their relationship remains unclear.

According to PEOPLE, one source claims the Six Flags trip was not the pair’s first one-on-one outing, alleging that Jordan and Raye have already been on “a couple dinner dates” together.

“Things are new between them, but they really like each other,” the source claimed, adding that Raye has reportedly told friends that Jordan is her type and described him as “warm and kind.”

However, another source offered a very different account of their relationship, telling the publication that the pair are “just friends” and had attended Six Flags as part of a larger group.

Neither Jordan nor Raye has publicly confirmed that they are dating, with representatives for both stars yet to comment on the speculation.

The rumours mark a new chapter in Jordan’s love life following his high-profile relationship with Lori Harvey. The pair began dating in 2020 and went public with their romance in early 2021 before splitting in 2022.

Since then, the Sinners star has largely kept his romantic life private, previously discussing the difficulties of dating while constantly being under public scrutiny.

As for Raye, the singer has never publicly confirmed a relationship. She previously opened up to PEOPLE about what she values in a future partner, revealing that “words of affirmation” is her love language and stressing the importance of good communication.

For now, whether Jordan and Raye are simply friends or the beginning of something more, their Six Flags outing has certainly given fans plenty to talk about.
